Priority definitions

Priority can be deduced using a combination of Urgency and Impact. For reference, the definitions of these terms are as follows:

Impact:a measure of the business criticality of an Incident, often equal to the extent to which an incident leads to degradation of agreed service levels. Impact is often measured by the number of people or systems affected.

Urgency:the necessary speed of solving an incident of a certain impact. A high-impact incident does not, by default, have to be solved immediately.

Priority:is expected effort. This is denoted by a number value, and is determined through assessing a combination of impact and urgency.

The matrix below describes the framework for determining priority.

The university directory is managed by the CUIT IAM group. Services include, automated listing (de-listing) to the online directory and timely publication of accurate bio-demographic information.

The university directory is managed by the CUIT IAM group. Services include, automated listing (de-listing) to the online directory and timely publication of accurate bio-demographic information.

Standard Service Features

Ability to search for individuals by name, UNI, department and telephone number.

Standard Costs:

For CU users, this service is available for free.

For CU affiliates, fee for this service is expected to be factored into the annual service-cost agreement between the affiliate institution and CUIT.

Directory Suppression:

Individuals (mostly students) could choose to be suppressed from the online directory

Prerequisites

For an individual to be searchable in the online directory, the person must be listed in the online directory.
