Additional Information

Additional Information:

CUIT has a Usability Lab that people can use to obtain quantitative and qualitative data about their systems, including metrics such as whether a participant is able to complete a specific task successfully, identifying how long it takes to complete a task, and determining how satisfied a participant is with a website or product. This information can be used to determine the steps necessary to improve the user experience.

Usability Lab

A Usability Lab is a place where usability testing is done. It is an environment where people are studied interacting with a system to evaluate the system's usability.

User Experience
User experience is about the emotions and perceptions of a person when interacting with a product, service or a system. It includes the emotions, beliefs, perceptions, physical and psychological responses to a product before, during and after use. Three factors effect user experience: system, user and context.

User Experience Design
User experience design is a process of improving the usability, accessibility and satisfaction during the interaction between the user and the product or system.
