For proposal development, all customers should be researchers submitting proposals to Grants.gov. Proposal tracking and post-award management are conducted by the Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) staff.

The InfoEd Grant Management application assists faculty, administrators and staff to move efficiently through each part of the grant and contract process from proposal development to post award management.

InfoEd modules include Proposal Development, Proposal Tracking, Post Award Management, SPIN (Sponsored Programs Information Network), SMARTS (SPIN Matching and Research Transmittal Service) and Genius (Global Expertise Network for Industry, Universities and Scholars).

The Proposal Development module is currently used for creating National Institute of Health (NIH) and other proposals that are required to be submitted electronically through Grants.Gov.

Proposal, Award, Financial Tracking Modules are used by Sponsored Projects Administrative (SPA) staff to track and manage proposals, awards, and accounts.
