Service Description
Details
Video Conferencing service includes ordering connect service or the utilization of existing ISDN services thus working with Verizon to provide the infrastructure. Reserving the location for the event, providing the rental of the equipment and manpower for coverage. These events vary in space and size i.e. one on one interview to having large audience participation.
Standard Service Features
Initial setup, testing and on-site event coverage support, CUIT conference room booking, archiving and hanging background banners. 10 day advance notice required. Setup can take anywhere from 5 to 10 business days to complete.
Video Conferencing for Students
- Flat fee in CUIT site (9-5 Mon to Fri) - $50
Video Conferencing for Faculty and Staff
- Video conferencing coverage provided from 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday
- Video conference in CUIT site Admin (first 2 hours) - $150+ $calls
- Additional hours (per hour) - $75 + $Calls
- Additional cost to move/setup/remove equipment at user site - $500
Web Casting For Faculty and Staff
- Web casting coverage provided from 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday
- Web casting setup, live links, archive links, DVD copy
- Half day event (4 hours) - $900
- Full day event (8 hours) - $1200
- Additional hour $100 per hour
- Overflow room equipment Simulcast $250 plus $100 per hour for tech support

Valid G/L account for faculty and administrative staff. Check made payable to Columbia University for students.
